Transfer Site Finds o’ the Week!

With the temps in the 60’s and 70’s the dump has been HOPPING. It’s so nice to get something besides a general feeling of depression at ye olde TS.

Quick Fellow Blogger Shout-Out to Ms. Trista who has been scoring (and posting about!) some sweet finds at the Transfer Site. I believe I mentioned this in an earlier post but I had never seriously frequented the Transfer Site before reading the now-sadly-defunct-blog “Arrogantly Shabby” that Trista and another gal named Katie created. I feel like Trista and Katie are my Mentors of the Transfer Site and both are deserving of at least a quarterly shout-out for their scrappy, DIY attitude that continues to inspire me.

Anyway, Trista wrote this post. It’s awesome. I highly recommend reading it. And Maple walked right past those boots and then showed no shame in telling me that he had walked right past those boots. He (Maple) was lucky to sleep in the house that night.

Aight. Onto the goodies.

With about $10.00 of repair this dip net will be as good as new. Now we only have to buy one net for Chitina.
