Solstice Tree – New and Improved!

Our Solstice tree was as cute as could be…however, it did look a wee bit bare, having a total of seven ornaments on it. I love that, of those seven, five were made by either us or people we know, and in forty years, I’m sure we’ll have amassed over a hundred ornaments that will be able to be described as such. However, there’s only so many ornaments Maple and myself can make in a year, and as I looked at our cute little Solstice tree, I did wish that there were a few more ornaments on it.

The Transfer Site to the rescue!! Maple found a big box of old ornaments and some lights in one fell swoop. We took them home, took out the ones that – due to the heavy ceramic material they had been made out of – were heavier than our tree, and gave our tree a little abundance.
